I think that the problem with this is that in the case when you want to
have correct constraint norms you need the constraints on all time
levels. When you recover, however I think only the current time level
would be recalculated and you would end up with incorrect constraints.
If you however do not need the correct norms and just one time level is
enough, I would not see a problem with this, as they could easily be
recomputed.
