I see.  Yes, the option SILENT=no has no effect when you specify it  
when you configure.  That's arguably confusing in Cactus.

I think the auto-generated file Domain.c.d is not correct.  Can you  
send that file?  It should be just a few lines long, and it should  
contain makefile rules.
