as promised, here is more information about the Cactus retreat.  Please

                         CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
                         ----------------------

The current beta release cycle for Cactus 4.0 is slowly drawing to a
close, it is a good time to review the current status of the framework
and its users, and to discuss future directions and development plans.
There will be a three day Cactus Retreat held in Baton Rouge at the
end of April, consisting of two days of user and application
experiences, and technical talks, and a day of development plans.  The
retreat will be preceded by a day of tutorials.  Following the retreat
there will be an optional excursion day to sample some Cajun
culture. We would be delighted to receive offers of talks or
tutorials.

                Thursday April 29 - Saturday May 1st, 2004.
                Tutorials on Wednesday 28th of April.
                Excursion on Sunday 2nd of May.

Costs: $ 100 registration (includes conference dinner and trip)
