Here is an idea for thorns that want to include self-tests.  Instead  
of using #ifdef to enable or disable the self-test code, introduce a  
boolean parameter "selftest".  If this parameter is true, then  
schedule the self-test routine e.g. into the Paramcheck bin, and use  
CCTK_ParamWarn to report test failures.
