[Developers] Fwd: Cactus_dev compilation with Intel Mac + gcc

Hi,

I'm using Cactus on a Mac, happily.  I have a local change to the  
configuration scripts for Macs which I have unfortunately not yet  
committed.  (I did not know that things actually broke for others  
until recently.)  I'll do that later today; sorry about the delay.
